Description
This homemade Dole Whip Ninja Creami recipe delivers the iconic Disney treat with a silky, airy texture—without the long wait in line! Using frozen pineapple and creamy coconut milk, this easy-to-make dessert outperforms the theme park version in taste tests.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups frozen pineapple chunks (preferably Dole brand)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or coconut sugar for a caramel note)
- 1/3 cup canned coconut milk (or coconut cream for a richer texture)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (or pineapple juice as a substitute)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon citric acid (for extra tanginess)
Instructions
- Blend the Base – In a blender, combine frozen pineapple, sugar, coconut milk, lime juice, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth but not fully liquefied.
- Freeze – Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, leaving 1/2 inch at the top. Secure the lid and freeze for 24 hours at 0°F (-18°C).
- Process in the Ninja Creami – Remove the frozen pint, place it in the outer bowl, and lock into the Ninja Creami. Select the “Lite Ice Cream” function.
- Adjust Texture if Needed – If the consistency is too firm, use the “Re-spin” function or add a tablespoon of liquid and reprocess.
- Serve & Swirl – Transfer to a piping bag with a star tip for a classic Dole Whip swirl. Serve immediately and enjoy!
